Newport Coast California Beach House Tour

Here’s the kitchen bar with those hammered glass lighting pendants! Classy and decorative. Those kitchen bar stools are definitely the right match. Notice how rather than backsplash tile, it looks like they put solid granite or marble up. Blue and white Medallion tile under the bar. We typically put a shiplap under the bar of our spec homes but I like this too! Also Medallion tile for the range hood.

This part is soooooo adorable. I love that they included this drinking area for dogs when they remodeled. With the built-in water faucet, it’s going to be real easy to fill these dog bowls… plus I’ve heard it’s better for a dog to eat and drink with raised bowls (Amz) instead of having to stoop their head down. Looks like this beach house owner has thought of everything..

Here’s one more photo of the kitchen, this time featuring the professional style gas ranges. Solid white granite backsplash is a timeless kitchen look.

A Mediterranean dining room with modern chairs and table. Huge mirror, wooden roof beams, a must-have sideboard, and those large glass door/windows that I believe caters to the open style theme that most Mediterranean houses have. Floor to ceiling windows.

I love this shot because it highlights the luxurious and modern chandelier, which I believe will be an inspiration to all of us looking for style and design ideas for dining rooms.

Lovely coastal theme bedroom has just a touch of the Mediterranean style with the geometric blue and tan pillow (geometric pillows on Amz) along with the window shade, and of course the wood windows.

Coastal themed bath. You’ll get a wider look at this amazing beach bath, but I wanted you to see a closeup of the marble wall and floating vanity.

Here’s one of the beach bedrooms. Grand and formal headboard, right? All adds to the Mediterranean theme going on. Elegant side table lamps, glass based with gold band.

This bathroom is a dream. Starting with the ergonomically designed freestanding bathtub on the left, large windows, the double vanity on the right, gorgeous mirror, the huge light fixture (that I adore the most here), down to the Globetrotter pattern on the floor, this bathroom is, indeed, a dream.

Another Mediterranean style bedroom in the house. Bright white walls and wooden floors for this room. Like the blue couch on the side with the contemporary upholstered ottoman. Like the pop of orange pillows.

Here’s one of the bathrooms in the house, featuring the mirror and lighting fixtures. Also, the blue and attractive tiles on the wall there definitely gives out that ‘beach vibes’.

Here’s a unique and definitely extravagant house decor. A glass wall art by Marcus Thesing, a local artist. This one’s a winner! I also love the light fixture, which I’m sure will inspire a lot of us. Blackband Design did an excellent job in this beach house.
