Tybee Islands’ Chu Cottage
Welcome to Chu Cottage, a popular coastal home on Tybee Island. Be ready to be delighted and amazed at the vibrant and happy colors this cottage will bring. No wonder this was featured in the May 2019 Tybee Tour of Homes. Instagram.com/Jane Coslick, the designer when it was renovated, did a fantastic job here.
Prepare to swoon!
Here’s the full kitchen. White cabinetry top to bottom, which creates a cleaner look for the area. The printed area rug featured adds fun colors here. The wooden flooring adds a bit of rustic vibes in this space. (MORE COASTAL KITCHENS)
First thing you’ll notice in this dining space is the turquoise zebra rug wall art. It’s a unique addition to this space. White dining table surrounded by yellow and turquoise dining chairs. Those yellow dining chairs remind me of the ones from this lovely cottage in Tybee (which was also designed by Jane). Gotta love those pink pendants. (COASTAL DINING ROOM IDEAS)
Here’s the master bedroom featuring a king size bed with green frame. White sheets and colorful pillows are also seen here. The dark blue nightstand shown here perfectly matches the overall aesthetic of this room. (BEACH THEMED BEDROOMS)
Never miss a Beach House Tour!
Delivered to you each Saturday morning.
Blue palm leaf wall art on top of the white credenza for this master bedroom. Love the matching lamp with the same shade of blue for the base.
Ample space from this bathroom. Featured from this photo are the drop-in tub and the walk-in shower. You’ll also find a part of the white and blue striped area rug, which I have to say, is adding a bit of character in this space. The whale light fixture adds unique touch in this bathroom. Jane’s designs have a way of promoting all around that cottage.
Here’s one of the guest bedrooms in this cottage. Love the yellow painted walls as it brings out ‘sunny’ vibes, which ultimately is a happy one. The painting on the wall behind the bed captures the overall theme of this cottage in terms of colors and shades.
Here’s a fun bathroom that’s connected to one of the rooms. Coral colored walls, which has become my fave here.
And here’s one of the bedrooms with a tropical theme. Love the wooden elements around especially the headboard.
Green, blue, coral, and more! You gotta love the colors on this deck.
