Charleston Guest House Getaway
The perfect beach guest house doesn’t exis… OMG, I just saw this lovely guest house in Charleston, South Carolina. Today’s home tour features one of the many wonderful designs of Allison Elebash, an interior designer based in Charleston. She specializes in creating amazing interiors and due to this, numerous publications have already featured her work including Southern Living, Coastal Living (coastal lovelies, where are you?!), BHG, and more! This is perfect.
Did you know that this space was once a garage? I just love how the whole space is now a guest house. This shot shows the living room featuring a white slipcovered sofa with vibrant yellow pillows. On both sides of that would be the rustic rattan end tables topped with turquoise blue lamps. Opposite the sofa, a pair of elegant gray accent chairs, upholstered in the timeless David Hicks La Fiorentina Fabric, face each other across a modern CB2 Peekaboo Acrylic coffee table resting on a jute rug, weaving together a blend of coastal charm and contemporary sophistication. The kitchen boasts a delightful contrast with its light yellow walls and white cabinetry, while a rustic butcher-block countertop adds a warm and earthy touch. The space is illuminated by a striking black candelabra-style chandelier that not only pops against the warm white cabinets but also provides a striking contrast to a set of ultra-modern acrylic bar stools. A bar cart?! Yes to this, please? I love this space. So easy and fun, too. This area features the awesome bar cart, a CB2 Peekaboo Acrylic Rolling Two Shelf, a bamboo accent chair (Bungalow 5 Chloe Chair) with a cushion covered by fabric from Schumacher, and a pretty pink art piece from Sally King Benedict.

In the bedroom, you’ll find the continuation of the guest house’s soft color palette. Off-white walls and a clean white bedspread. Aqua lamps and coordinating bench, and the watercolor art piece above the headboard add a coastal feel. (BEACH THEMED BEDROOMS)
Featured in the the patio: A stylish high-back gray outdoor sofa adorned with eggplant-colored pillows, pair of contemporary gray outdoor chairs, and red brick and concrete fire pit. You’ll also see the custom blue paint of the exterior from here. Overall, this space looks inviting, and a comfortable setting for relaxation and outdoor gatherings.
