Calypso Cottage, a beach cottage in Tybee Island
A home from the Cottage Collection on Tybee Island designed by infamous Jane Coslick. The original Calypso Cottage, constructed about 1948, has been a part of both the Tybee Tour of Houses and the Holiday Cottage Tour. The three-bedroom, 1.5-bath split plan offers a large master bedroom with room for an additional master bath, two guest bedrooms that are connected by a bathroom, and two further guest bedrooms.
A large saltwater pool with a stylish deck surrounding it, a hot and cold outdoor shower, a tiki bar, and a fun pool house are all accessible through double doors off the roomy, central eating area.
CN Walker Designs painted the kitchen cabinets and the dining room table, while local artists Blanch Nettles, Bellamy Murphy, and Lili London added their works to the beachy decor.
